Meet Dr. Shah

Dr. Shivani Shah, DO, MPH

Hi, I'm Dr. Shah, a board-certified pediatric neurologist specializing in epilepsy. I've been fascinated by the brain and how it works for as long as I can remember. That curiosity led me from medical school at NYCOM to a child neurology residency at Duke and an epilepsy fellowship at Columbia. Today, I care for children and families in my private practice, and being there for them during some of their hardest moments is something I take real pride in.

My patients and their parents would tell you that I take my time. I explain what's happening in clear, plain language, welcome every question (even the ones you've asked twice), and make sure you leave feeling heard and confident in the plan. Trust is built in the small moments, and the more we understand together, the better we can care for your child. My goal is to blend the heart of old-school medicine with the best of modern innovation.

Outside the office, you'll find me searching for a new café or sushi spot, practicing yoga, running, or walking just about everywhere. I treasure time with family and friends. I'd love to meet you and your family.
